Greetings, Pavvies.
It it currently 5 and some change in the morning, and I have yet to get some sleep. Usually, I'd be in bed by at least 3, but something prevented this fron happening: the niece and nephew. Yes, my sister didn't give the family an advance warning or anything, but let us know earlier today that she was going to be babysitting tonight. Now, in terms of babysitting, I'm pretty lenient on the matter, but usually if the babysitting doesn't happen overnight, which unfortunately is the case for tonight.
So, my sister takes on this job of babysitting the kids (without pay), and my niece, 4, has been crying for the past 20 minutes (because she cannot fall asleep, and had done so again 2 1/2 hours earlier. Now, everyone else is knocked out, sleeping in areas where they are of great distance away from the kid's crying, but I, on the other hand, have to sleep on a couch mere feet away and this is all that's going through my freaking ears. My mom has finally put the goddamn foot down and told my sister that she volunteer for this kind of stuff and then have other people tending after the kids, even though I know it's not their fault.
Well, that's what really grinds my gears, and hopefully, by the grace of almighty God, I can get some sleep within the next 30 minutes.
