In RPG maker 1 there is also something called Anime Maker. Can anyone explain how to use the features on this like how to animate and script on it. Also, can any part of Anime Maker be transferred to RPG maker like backgrounds, Title screens or characters?

the only things you can port over to rpg maker are title screens, characters, and monsters. anime maker is a separate program that allows you to make things independently of rpg maker so only that which you made specifically for rpg maker can be transported.
the most savvy users take the character maker part and create 9 different images to use in their game.
Ive only been able to use 3, mostly because 6 of those frames are walking frames and thus refreshes to a standing position when stationary

it takes a bit of practice but you can stall the imagine mid walk (you have a take over in intro event that move the event over a space and it will hit one of the in betweens i think, been a while since i used it).

Can you give an example of the exact process used like transferring a title screen from anime maker to rpg maker?

easy. just go to anime maker, click the rpg maker button thingy, then click title screen, make your screen and save it. log into rpg maker, look for the memory card option, find import and it will give you the 3 menu choices like anime maker. click on a space and search your card for the file you want to add and boom! once added you cannot edit the file anymore so make sure its what you want. you can use the file in your game at anytime (for monsters its added to the monster data base, for characters its tacked on to the end of your character list, and for title screens it right in the title screen maker part of rpg maker).
