Another Strange Dream

I just had another weird dream!

Okay, there was this thing where you send a game request to a game company (i.e. the game story, genre, ect.) and they make it for you. I sent in a request for a Ke's Tales platformer (my dream game project!) and I got it back.

However, I was not satified with the results!

Instead of a spitfire blond girl who wears purple, Ke Blazer was a brutish brunette girl in green! The villain of the story was Byron Vante, whom you can read about my work-in-progress story in my "Ke's Tales Short Story" thread (I'd like to add that the story is nearing completeion, yet still needs to be proff read). Anyway, instead of the dark haired, gentlemanesque demon of my creation, Byron was a caveman/native-like person with matty red hair and one of those grass skirt native things. And instead of using his power to trick people by granting thier wishes, this Byron just controlled his henchmen (who weren't patchwork men, but goblin-like creatures) and hit people with this club he carried around!

When I compare my version of Ke's Tales and this dream version of Ke's Tales, I was quite surprised.


Just thought I'd mention this.

Damn dream-corporations always selling out and changing the protagonist just to get MORE SALES!... or something.

Sounds like a fun dream nonetheless. I love it when I have dreams like that! Anyhow, maybe you can pick up a bit of inspiration for what you want to do in Ke's Tales, based on those dreams or your evaluation of them?

I just had a dream. I was a Surgical Doctor. Cutting off people's limbs.

There was plenty of blood.

Here's a messed up one for you.

My most messed up dreams are about work.

I had one where I was working as an enumerator for the census and was getting chased around a house by ghosts, but all I needed was the ZIP code.

Then I had one much more recently where I was supposed to deliver pizza to an Italian restaurant, but I had to drive up steps and kept hitting pedestrians on the way there.

I was at some mall I've never been to before. I head over to the fountain and it's half-filled with quarters and water, and it starts raining quarters and I'm stuffing my pockets with quarters then I wake up and my quarters are gone and I go, "Damn, where are my quarters?"

Just woke up from one of the best dreams I've had in a while. My family was taking a trip to Japan (I want to go there. I plan to in a couple years). So we flew into a city called Ichiboya (to my knowledge, not a real city at all) which looked mostly American (except for the fact that Japanese writing was indeed everywhere)--in fact, the people there all had Japanese features but rather light, Caucasian-toned skin.

The coolest part was the bullet train, which we took from the airport to the main core of the city. (For some reason I was dizzy and just barely sat down in time.) The train cars were more like the cars on a wooden roller-coaster: small, open-air, and benches that sat four across. Actually, the whole thing was like a roller coaster. In fact, it did things that no roller coaster could do, like effortlessly climb a 50 foot hill at full speed and then hurtle you down it. It swerved left and right and right again, seemingly just for the thrill of it. It passed under one car on another track, and above another car on another track, by about a foot--making Dueling Dragons look tame. The whole thing was so fricking cool. At the end of the ride, we the unloading took an inordinately long time, and my mom gave the four of us the tickets we'd need to fly to Tokyo in a couple of days.

Woke up shortly after, and it was about 2pm. No going back to sleep for me!
