It's hard to find compatible programs and drivers sometimes. It's pretty, but at the expense of performance.
It's got some positives. Windows + Tab is pretty neat. It's more user friendly (if you haven't grown too accustomed to XP). Search and security. Blah blah blah.

I turned off Windows Aero cause I thought it was boring and dumb.
I'm too lazy to turn off all the administrator prompts (which ask you for permission to move files and all kinds of stupid ****) and my control panel applications vanished into thin air.

This is true. So very true. Installing my old printer/scanner was annoying and I never could install TWO separate versions of Word which I LEGALLY own. Mother****ers.
And all the security prompts are a little Orwellian. :o
Otherwise, it's not SO bad. I can still play Half-Life and browse the web, so.
