Brutal Legend

I've recently learned of this game about a roadie named Eddie Riggs who kicks ass with a battle axe in a world of heavy metal rock, with Jack Black as Eddie. What do you guys think?

I watched, and it looks cool, but I still stand by my initial verdict. It looks like a game that will get boring after the first hour or so.

He is a fairly funny guy. He mixes humor with games pretty good but I have seen way better.
This game is going to suck pretty bad though.
Partly because of its no talent voice actor and partly bcause of the concept behind it/gameplay.

I can see it being fun but I am just not being drawn in its direction. Maybe the reason is Jack Black. I do not think I could deal with his voice for 50 hours of gameplay.

I did a little reading up on this game and it sounds interesting. I'm not entirely sure whether I would get it or not because I've never played a Tim Schafer game. While I'm a bit skeptical about having Jack Black as the main character, that actually makes a lot of sense. Jack Black and rock seem to work well together. I know I enjoyed School of Rock.
