Holidays are coming up. Look into a seasonal job at a retail place.

You never know.

That's how I got my job last year and they've held onto me since then. I've actually been working there a year next week.

6 months without a job, money is tight. life sucks, but ya gota roll with it. get out there and start looking before you have a chance to get depressed over it.

That is some good advice. Last time I got real depressed over it.

There actually is some good news, I just found out that a couple of places called about me today. One of which, would pay much more than my previous job. I hope everything works out for the best. I don't think I can handle another year+ of job searching.

I despise searching for jobs. I don't have a college degree, so I basically try to apply at retail-type places. Also, without a car, those are about the only type of places that a bus goes by, unless it's fast food, and I've done enough of that early in my job career to know I don't want to do it again.
