The fall video game onslaught

This fall is very crowded, as we all know. every system is getting a bunch of great games and there's just no time to play them without getting sidetracked by yet another new game.

So what are you juggling right now? what's going to be added to the list this month?

I currently have Metroid Prime 3, Phoenix Wright 3, and Megaman ZX Advent in-progress. also finally upgraded to a PSP slim the other day, which further complicates things for me with Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles and Gurumin. Of those two, I've only spent time with Gurumin so far, and I'm going to wait on really getting into it until I get at least Metroid Prime 3 and Phoenix Wright 3 out of the way.

Next week I'll be grabbing Super Mario Galaxy, of course. later this month I'll pick up the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion on PS3. That SHOULD be it. Oh, wait, that Zelda crossbow training game comes out this month, doesnt it, for only 20? yeah, probably gonna get that since it's been getting great eactions from the press. Soul Calibur Legends and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles are going to have to wait.

I'm currently finishing the Pokedex in Pokemon Pearl and I gotta finish Pokemon Emerald as well. I'm also on the second case in Phoenix Wright 2. Whoever said it is right (Kefka), the writing definitely took a hit. Still, it's a thrill.

Been playing some SMB3 here and there since I am PUMPED for Mario Galaxy. I got it pre-ordered but I probably won't even open or play it until Xmas since I still have a humongous backlog of games. I think that's in a separate topic but they include Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario and Half-Life 2: Episode One.

I also play Final Fantasy 12 and Halo 3 sporadically, mostly on weekends.

Games I MUST HAVE!!! include Phantom Hourglass, Portable Ops Plus, FF12 Revenant Wings, Dracula X Chronicles, Mass Effect, Orange Box and a billion others probably.

Here's what I'm looking forward to renting and beating:

Call of Duty 4 (single player)
Halo 3 (co-op, still haven't beaten)
Assassin's Creed (next week!)

I'm handling most of this stuff through rentals...although I'm shelling out for rock band.

The only new game I have is Phoenix Wright 3. I'm on the very exciting and adventurous final case.

Then I have to get that damn Wild Arms 5 out of the way. All while taking care of Seaman.

Assassins Creed possibly if it turns out any good

Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, Still have to pick up Guitar Hero 3, haven't picked up Phoenix Wright 3, Uncharted, and maybe Kane and Lynch.

I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed and Uncharted this month, and would like to get Jericho if I can find it anywhere. In addition PS3 gets the Orange Box early next month. I'd also like to get Super Mario Galaxy and RE:UC for the Wii.

Right now I'm playing through challenge mode on Ratchet and Clank Future and am planning on a return to FF12 and Twilight Princess before buying more.

I am juggling a big list.

One that I am really trying to get finished is my RPGM3 game.

At the same time, I am playing....

Phoenix Wright 3 - On second case.

Front Mission DS - Forgot to save after 2 missions and have to replay them.

Dementium The Ward - Stuck at the first boss.

Wild Arms 5 - Still got a long ways to go.

Trama Center Second Opinion - Still haven't started.

Metroid 3 - Still need to finish the first planet.

Persona 3 - Only around the 15th floor.

so much fun, it's like work!



i have probably too many games that need playing. at some point, i'll probably quit buying new ones for awhile. i think i have more than enough to keep me busy.
