    NaNoWriMo 2k7

Whoa. So I just remembered this thing.

For those of you who don't know about this, it is time to get cracking on that novel! November is here and with it, it brings the challenge of writing a novel of at least 50,000 words by the end of the month. You can find out more info at http://www.nanowrimo.org.

I'm three days down, but not out. This year I think I've got an idea that will work well enough to allow me to get it done. Is anyone else trying, or willing to try and participate? If you use the above site, add me (PostulateMan)!

Is this where John Mora has gone? Can I complete the task, or will I fail as miserably as last year? What will Ryner and IRC say to help discourage? Will anyone else attempt this?

I came pretty close to doing this without the benefit of a motivating factor like NaNoWriMo. Kudos to anyone who undertakes this and does... well, anything at all with it.

I meant to do this, but I have way too much on my plate. I'll probably just consider my winter break the month and try to get something done then.

I've been trying desperately to work on mine, but I'm still blanking on a plot, so either today or tomorrow I'm going to just free write for a while and see if anything useful comes out.

caciss' last year was like unintentional comedy gold.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

                  No it wasn't.

                  Yes, it was.

I might try to write my stupid horrible crappy (I said it's bad so when no one likes I can be like, "TOLD YA") sitcom pilot for this.

But it's supposed to be a novel.

uh, not that there's anything wrong with that!

                        Re: NaNoWriMo 2k7

wow i think i stopped working on mine when it hit double that. took me the better part of 5 years though most of that was spent non preforming. i cant imagine writing consecutively for a month and getting 50k words, its just a lot. though i bet many could write about their rpgs and come up with that much, probably would be greater then their games too.

edit: anyone else unable to get the link to load?

The site is terribly unreliable during November, try later.
