I've had a nagging question in my mind lately. What makes a sprite comic good? what makes them suck? I wonder, I wonder.......

Sprite comics can be a good outlet for people with literally no artistic talent whatsoever, but a great skill with witty writing. If they can't collaborate with someone, they can do sprites.

I don't like sprite comics, though. The only one I keep up with now that Bob and George is finished is 8-Bit Theater. Actually, I never finished Bob and George, and I haven't read 8-Bit Theater in months.

I guess I don't like sprite comics.

How to make a poll:

1) start a thread
2) make your comment and stuff
3) go down to where it asks you if want to make a poll ans select yes.
4) set the number of options and select post.
5) set up the topic question and the options themselves.
6) add any special effects if you want some.

For instance, in my poll, you can select multiple options sat once, or even all of them. try it.

Some people don't vote in public polls, because they allow people to see what they picked, which some people don't like.

How to make a Sprite comic:

1. Google image search for sprite images
2. C/P onto comic layout done in MSPaint
3. Insert video game inside jokes: "Megaman, how come you can't shoot up!?" *Megaman tries to shoot up and explodes*
4. Don't forget cussing and toilet humor.
5. Upload it to Drunkduck.com and annoy the hell out of Loki.

Sprite flashes at Newgrounds are basically the same thing, only with small differences:

- While there's still no voice acting, sound bites are inserted for the interjections. "****!!"
- Music videos can be made, which basically take the song's lyrics literally and translate them into the game's story: true story - take "We're Not Gonna Take It" and add the Toadstool people in Mario rebelling en mass against Koopa.
- Copious amounts of DBZ rip offs.

I think some of that stuff is funny. I'm still not sure what exactly sprite comics are though.

8 bit theatre is funny.

Kabutroid I find a kinda lame-but-okey humor.

Those are the only sprite comics I have read though.
