Signature in the toilet

I'm confused. When I was on the Signature editor thingy, It said I couldn't put up an image. Yet when I look around, I see people with images in their signatures. Some even have images that link to other sites! How do I do that? (On a side note, I forgot how to set up a link to other sites.)

What did you do to put an image on?

The way you normally do it is:

1. Find the URL of the picture you want to put on,
2. Copy the URL (you can right click and select "copy image location"),
3. When you're making your signature, click the button that looks like a mount landscape, and paste the URL in there.

The image I want to use is a custom bitmap image on "Paint".

you have to convert the BMP to JPG or GIF or a supported format, once you do that you can upload it to a hosting site such as imageshack.us

Huzzah! it worked! Thank you so very much.......for reminding me how to put web links. I'll work on the image thing later.
