Tuesday evening, the pavilion costume party will be starting up again. During this time, users will be allowed to register "costume accounts" and post in the general discussion areas with them.
Now, the rules:
You are allowed as many costume accounts as you want, as long as none of them violate forum rules (however, costume accounts are allowed to flame and harass each other). While no normal users will be able to tell who you are, the admins will be able to, so don't use this as an excuse to break rules or harass people.
During registration of costume accounts, PLEASE remember to check the box that will appear in the registration field that says "costume account", so we know what accounts to delete afterwards.
Do not register any costume accounts until you see a topic in main forum or free forum announcing the party has started. any accounts registered before that time will be deleted.
Posting outside of general discussion areas with a costume account is not reccomended.
Costume accounts will not be given playground access.
Costume accounts are allowed to spam and act as retarded as they wish. no spamming emoticons though.
Impersonation of staff was not allowed last year, but it is this year. real staff members will have their badges under their names so there will be no confusion. the amount of goblis users have now would also be a good indication of who is real and who isnt.
All costume accounts will be deleted the evening of November 1st. all topics made by costume accounts will be moved to the greatest hits forum.
At the end of the party, there will be a contest to select the best costume accounts in various categories.
The staff will not be allowed to reveal the identities behind any costume accounts, and if you don't want to reveal who you were, you don't have to. You can be whoever you want and do whatever you want (within rules) and never have to answer for it if you don't want to.
