    Alundra 1&2 any good?

Well... Are they? I think I'm gonna get them for X-mas.

Alundra 1 is amazing, better then most of the 2D Zeldas. 2 is alright in its own right but garbage compared to 1.

Oh, 2 has absolutely nothing to do with 1.

      I own Aludra 2.

I got lost and didn't know what to do. So I quit.

I thought both Alundra games were mediocre.

Alundra's like Landstalker, stiff movement and all, though it's alright. The puzzles and navigation of the game can be real stumpers, as well as the difficulty of the enemies. I got REALLY far into the game, and couldn't go any further, so I quit.

Alundra 2's like Zelda. But it retains some of the puzzle difficulty Alundra had, though it's more a hack and slash than puzzler. I quit that game at the last dungeon, because there was a jump I couldn't make.

alundra 2 sucks becuase of the moronic collision rate which activates even when you hit the enemies. some of the puzzles where difficult too if i remember right.

alundra 1 was great, definatly high up on my list of favorite games.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

Alundra is one of my all-time favorite videogames. It's a very well put together game.

Alundra 2, on the other hand, is a completely different kind of beast. It's still challanging and in retrospect I did have a lot of fun playing it. But it's not like the first one at all. It has a funky art style, weird sense of humor, etc. I had a love/hate relationship with the game. Thinking about it I almost want to find it on-line and buy it and play it all over again. But then I think about my back-long and... yeah.

Both are good buys, for sure.

alundra = great puzzles that require actual thought, fun top perspective gameplay, good difficulty.

                alundra 2 = no

Alundra 2 is better than most people give it credit for.

But it's nothing like Alundra. It's wacky anime shnanigans To Alundra's somber anime melodrama.

It's still a fun game with some neat enviroments and puzzles.

it had potential but the collision rate was so damaging to the game. the two are very dissimilar, enough to call it an entirely different game then its predecessor.

Well, thank you all. I was gonna get 1 anyway, but I think now I will give 2 a shot as well. It's $5 on amazon so I guess I can't really lose.

Just to be safe: don't ... umm ... get too attached to any of the characters.

5 bucks is still over priced for it. but go for it, its cheaper then renting it and it makes a nice coaster when you get fed up with it.
