*doesn't look surprised* (Halo 3 prob)

Yup, a specific version of the GotY-to-be has problems. No arguing, it's GONNA be GotY. It's prophecy.

I wanted to play alongside a friend in co-op campaign play. Unfortunately, the game doesn't get past 20%, as far as loading the stupid level is concerned, because it goes back to 0. And when it DOES load the damn level, if you get to a certain spot or cutscene, you get a DRE. A ****ing DRE ON A NEW POSBOX 720 WITH A BRAND NEW COPY OF GAYLO 3.

Thing is, the game worked fine for the first couple weeks it was owned.

Now I'm gonna ask a question. Does anyone else's copy of Halo 3 have a ring on the outer edge of the bottom of the disc? And if it does, does the copy work with all modes/levels? Answers will determine what I'll do with this brick.

Is the ring on the game disk red by any chance. If so I'd find that slightly humorous that not only does the console get a red ring of death but the game disks themselves as well.

No, it does not have a red ring on it.

Did you bump the system while playing? If that sucker ain't sittin' still it'll eat your game for breakfast (or lunch or dinner depending on the time of day).

It really scares me that my 360 is gonna crap out on me. I just hope my friend can finish playing Bioshock before it dies. cause then i wont mind it being in the shop, I can wait on Mass Effect

No. We're too far from the system to do so, it's on a flat surface.

Do you own the limited edition?

She doesn't own the limited edition, just the regular ol' Halo 3.

I suppose that could be possible, I mean imo bioshock owns halo any day of the week, as does many other games but who am I to say what would be goty.

I know its not gonna happen, because the rabid Xbox and Nintendo fans wont let it...but I honestly havent played a game better than Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, in a VERY long time.

It deserves GOTY, but hasnt got a chance.

I would agree, and be quite happy to see it win GotY also. There hasn't been a platformer except for rachet in the "next" gen.
