Am I right? I can't see Ps2 getting the next one, if there is a next one. Oh well, I still haven't even played RPG Maker 2 yet. I have RPG Maker 3, and I am loving it, but RPG Maker 2 is the one I truly hope to get my hands on one day.

Different people have different opinions on which system it should/should not be for but i will have to agree that it probably isn't going to be for PS2. Now that the new systems are standing tall that other systems feel wore out. I do not doubt it will be on PS3 because of the sheer fact that the others are on Sony systems... I personally would like to see one on the Wii

Why do you think the Wii? Sure, it would be cool and all, and maybe the controller would make for good interface for editing, but the RPG Maker console series seems pretty dedicated to Sony. So far anyway.Comment

They arent dedicated to Sony anymore, do some reading up on the developer, not the series, before you jump to conclusions

Only in America. The RPG Tsukuru (the Japanese name) series started out on PC and MSX2. Then went to Super Famicom (SNES). It's also been on Game Boy Color and Advance. There was even one on Saturn.Originally posted by gameguy

I can definitely see the Wii. It seems like it is the most logical system because of the controller capabilities. It seems like you could get more involved in your game.
