    Fun Facts

Did you find an interesting piece of trivia? Facts? Anything INTERESTING AT ALL?

Did you know that a Tomb Raider CCG was released waaaay back in 1999? It's kinda fun but the whole gameplay aspect was more confusing than a Star Wars/Matrix Hybrid-cross-over-prequel.

I just found out from the director Kevin Smith: Tim Burton's publicist's name is Bumble Ward.

I was once told that a Daddy Longlegs spider; a common pest that you find practically anywhere in your house; has the most deadliest poison. They just don't have the chompers to bite you.

I beat Persona 3's last boss with only the main character my first playthrough.

Or perhaps the termites are the ones starting those fires, to cover up their tracks.

Urban myth. Pholcid spiders can penetrate human skin. Not only that, but daddy long leg spiders have difficulty killing insects, let alone the impossible task of a small mammal.

Deadliest poison? No way in hell.

Yes, that was disproven on MythBusters.

But the daddy longlegs killed my entire family. As true as my Batman story.

If you were suspected of witchcraft during the period of the Salem Witch Trials, they would hurl you into a river/lake with your arms and legs bound and leave you, if you survived it would mark you as a witch, thus earning you a fiery death at the stake, if you drowned you were innocent and was free to go.

Trivia in trivia: They never caught a witch this way...

Not true, or it has not been proven anyways, in fact, there are 2 different species, the daddy longlegs, and the daddy longleg spider.

For true daddy-long-legs, the opilionids, the myth is certainly false, and for the daddy-long-legs spiders it is certainly not based on known facts.

I stand corrected. I was under the impression that it was proven fact. That's the last time I believe something I see on T.V.
