I don't have an Xbox also, I only have an Xbox. Any other system is the GAYEST! I mean really, anyone who plays PS2 is just the stupidest! Can't they see that the Xbox is the best system at everything? I love my Xbox. I sleep with my Xbox. I AM MY XBOX.

...harsh but semi-true PS2 is my 2nd love because of Rpg maker 2 and a few other tear jerking games. And X-box is my first love because of those beautiful games Halo + Halo2 + Fable.

One of my best friends is the undisputed king of Halo 2. I don't think he'd win any nationals but he could definitely hold his own against us "norms."

He's challenging as ****, but when he's not playing me and my friends/brothers are mostly evenly matched, so it all RULES.

If I get hold of a sword in this game I will kill anyone. I beat a legendary stage in single player using only swords and the brute force butt(After a thousand tries....). When I play online at my friends house in a Phantom game, poor bastards.....

Well, the thing I found, is that if anyone's got a sword the playing field is immediately unbalanced. It's the strongest friggin' weapon in the game. One hit kills.

Which is why Only Swords games are fun. Everyone's pretty much equal.

You go Denethor! lol :) Fable is sweet people do get in the way sometimes but it's still sweet and Halo 2's grenades were taken down a notch from Halo 1's but overall all three games rock and WEREN'T overhyped! lol

Halo 2 is awesome with my friends because they're all competent, and at just around my skill level. We always have good competitions. And I don't find swords too cheap. When my friend comes at me with a sword I usually just run away backwards, and blast him with whatever gun I have in the head.

Yeah...If you're not very good, swords are cheap..Once you gain skills, swords are pretty beatable.

ROCKET LAUNCHER is pretty much always cheap, though.

"Not very good" is all relative too... I'm level 10 on Live so I'm not very good to like Level 14 guys, but I could beat up on lower level, yadda yadda. You only know your real skill level if you play against a large range of players.

Yeah...If everyone is crappy player, you can do rocket rumbles, and those are still fun and usually pretty equal. Lots of laughs too, cos you constantly blow yourself up.

Ugh. I can't wait until I stop hearing about Halo 2. The Halo series is a fad, people only play it because the "in-crowd" does. It's just another FPS.

There is an advantage in there being a game everyone plays; it makes casual parties much more fun. If there was no standard shooter each game would be completely dominated by whomever owned the game and maybe one or two others, instead of the game being dominated by 4 or 5 players in Halo.

I agree with JL also, Halo 1 and 2 are medicore at best, if it didnt have flashy graphics, the slow monotonous gameplay and lack of decent guns would turn everyone away.

oh, and the sword is the cheapest weapon ever added to a game....its for girls

The sword is easy to dodge. Just sidestep it. Don't circle around the guy, that won't move you far enough fast enough, but if you just move to the side horizontaly the sword will miss every time.
