What if Stephen Colbert ran for president?

If he really ended up going for it, would he make it? Would he be any good? He seems like he would, but then again, the only place Ive ever seen him is on the Daily Show, Colbert Report and when he was at that White House party and gave a speech wich was blacked out from all news papers and news reports and could only be found on the internet.

If he ran for it, and kept all the same views and things he has now, Id vote for him if I lived in the states.

I'd say absolutely no way. I think hes funny (not as funny as John Stewart), but the guy can't be serious EVER.

I saw him on Larry King a few nights ago, and although he is very smart, he cannot take a serious stand on anything.

I'm sure he would get votes, but no way he would win.

I think it'd be interesting if he gave it a serious shot. He's better than a politician being president. Besides, living the United States of Stephen Colbert would be fun.

But if a fake news pundent was going to run I'd rather it be John Stewart.

Only if he campaigned as Phil Ken Sebben. But really I think him or Stewart would be about the same, both are pretty liberal, and between the two I think Colbert would be a little more balanced (though it's hard to tell where Colbert actually stands just from his show). But yeah I would vote for him, because he can't be worse than Bush right.
