Imp: the chosen. a small offering from an ancient user.

the title itself is what could have easily been a white wolf games product, and it was gonna be a little something for halloween but that's just not working out.

the plot is a simple one. an unfortunate person is selected to raise an imp in the mortal realm. over time, if your will is not strong enough the young demon can force you to do its bidding, and perform various dark deeds for it's own benefit.

    fate is not your ally.

you must search the globe for a way to rid yourself, nay, all mankind, of the creature. you must stop it at all costs.

    for the creature hungers...

it'll be for RPG Maker 1 providing i can get a sprite of the imp as an infant and child. if not i'll be forced to put it on hold and work on another one in this series of unrelated games.
the legends have returned...whenever i can finish these, lol.

I like the idea of games where the protagonist is the cause of the problem.

Me too. Which is why I need to get off my lazy ass and work on Series 4 some more.

what do you mean? bit sleepy at the moment so my brain's kinda...eh. if youre talking about something for RPG maker, no. if you mean steve jackson games, no. got the idea for these monster oriented games from a few ANCIENT products from white wolf games.

For how I have the storyline figured out for Series 4, the main character of the second game pretty much is the cause of all the problems that happen in the entire "series."

I was responding to Max Power.

I've never used RPGM1, so I don't exactly know how to respond to your idea, but it sounds cool. I just don't know how you'll program it where you are FORCED to do the imp's bidding. The thing about RPGs is, you can pretty much do or not do anything that's laid out in the game. Then again, if you DON'T do anything, I guess there would be no point in playing, so meh.

Oh, I thought you meant the title was alluding to something you made which easily could have been a White Wolf Game but they declined. xD

simplest thing would be win/loss battle conditions. the whole time youre besting the creature battle after battle,, youre free to seek out ways to slay it. if you lose...things get rather...unsavory.

and yeah, my older brother loved Vampire: the masquerade. i found it just before it made it to the trash can and i've been hanging on to it ever since. not too sure but this all may have been covered under demon: the fallen.

unfortunately i'm gonna have to wait on this one while i work out the bugs and wait for my spriting to improve. its really too bad since this was gonna be the first of like 4 games or so.
