    Zack & Wiki

Comes out today. IGN gave it a 9.0. I love adventure games. Since I love classic point/click adventure games and the like, I'll definitely get it.

I'd like to be interested, but you didn't post a link, say which system it was on, etc...

What is it? I have never heard of it... Is it some Ratchet and Clank/Jak and Daxter clone?

The only adventure games I've really played are Trace Memory and Hotel Dusk. But I really loved those titles.

Maybe I'll check this out, since I'm for new franchises.

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaro's Treasure from Capcom. Available now on Wii.

It's a point and click adventure-puzzle game with extensive use of Wii remote motion sensing to solve puzzles that every p/review says are far better and more challenging than the "kiddie" presentation might lead you to suspect. Matt Cassamassina (IGN Wii) loved it so much he launched the "Buy Zack & Wiki Campaign 2007".
              IGN - 9.0
              GameSpot - 8.5
              Game Informer - 8.25

I wish they'd kept the title "Treasure Island Z" for America.

What's interesting is that Gamespot said it's biggest weakness is a weak story. Why must so many Nintendo products have this in common?!? -_-

Gamespot has a bias against Wii games, I wouldn't take anything they say to heart.

Zak and Wiki isnt a nintendo product. it's a capcom product.

                      I know it's made by Capcom, but it's on a Nintendo console...and don't say that doesn't matter.

are you insulting dewy's adventure now?

that game's a lot of fun.

not all games NEED epic stories, you know.

being on a nintendo console doesnt matter with capcom. the resident evil 1 remake, resident evil zero, resident evil 4, and the upcoming umbrella chronicles were all made for nintendo consoles. capcom always gives nintendo the best they can. if a game is lacking in story, that's because capcom wanted it like that, not because of what system it's on.

There are "kiddie" games for the playstation and xbox, and pretty much every console ever made.
