So the RPG Makers are still pretty pricey...

I can't find RPG Maker 2 in stores anywhere, but I actually found an EB that has RPG Maker 3 for 47 bucks. I don't really want 3 anyway, but, would 2 be a lot cheaper than that if I found a store that had it do you think?

I paid $25 for 1 (online), $15 for 2 (Actually found it in a store) and $60 for 3 (online).
They are pretty cheap, but good luck finding them!

      I paid maybe $30 for RPGM1, and $50 for RPGM2 and 3.
I bought 1 online, and 2 and 3 at a store at their releases.

Direct from Agetec.com RM2 is $20 and RM3 is $30. I don't know what that EB is trying to pull.

I bought RM2 twice. First for $17 or something like that at GameStop.com disc only and it didn't work. Then for $20 in GameStop with case and manual. I think I bought RM1 for the retail price close to it's release and RM3 for retail on the day it debuted.

...So why is RPG Maker 3 so expensive at EB now? I mean, $47? It must be new or something, but that wouldn't make sense. Besides, aren't new Ps2 games only $39.99?

its opening price point was very high, i think it was 65 so the price is appropriate i think. i cannot afford to pay even that much though so it will have to wait till it drops a bit more.

It's because they are hard to find now that they cost as much as they do.

I don't think the RPG maker series is mainstream.

i think agetec printed out only so many as it was a limited release (just a few copies per store and seamed to be by request mostly). i wish i wasnt so broke so i could support companies with new purchase rather then buying used. i guess we all cant be rich like misty.

Amazon has them all listed for less than $20.00 if you buy used.

                        I got 1 for $30 in-store back in 2000
I got 2 with the Prima Guide for $7 online earlier this year
and I got 3 for $30 at EB Games a few years ago

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

Amazing how much their prices vary from place to place. Hmm, the only one I remember for certain was RPGM1 for $40. Still is, last I looked.

I think the gamemakers are worth the price myself. You are getting a huge amount of freedom and content for a small price.

And it means lots of free games to play. They're practically their own consoles.
(That's probably what you meant, though.)
