PS3 get!

I broke down and got the 60gb version. My PSN name is Goufunaki (go figure!). Please add me.

I didn't get any games for it. The shock of spending all that money for the console is still affecting me, so for now I am just going for the demos.

More importantly, I registered my name waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when the European site was letting people register names. So I want to change the country I am from, but it's not letting me pick it. Since Valk was the one who posted that link back then I'm hoping he or anyone else that registered that way can help.

Please? The prices for the store are all in Pounds, and it frightens that it might affect me in some manner. Don't mean to be cheeky, I suppose I'll bash on then, and perhaps a little noughts and crosses will calm me down. Ah, blimey! It's happened already!

Sony removed the option to change what country the account is tied to.
which is why I'm now Valkysas1. yep. had to create a new account.

I've tried e-mailing SCEE, but I've been ignored. maybe you'll have better luck?

And you got the 60GB version. Good call, friend. As I said before, the 60GB is the best PS3 model you can get. 80GB is a lot of memory, but you don't really need that much. I certainly don't.

I know there aren't a lot of games right now, but keep waiting. Or perhaps, do a little shopping around to see which PS3 game you find interesting. Download demos first before you buy. Ratchet and Clank is but a week and a half away from release. And, of course, Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII Versus. (That's the one I'm waiting on, and all of my friends demand I get for my PS3.) You can try the PlayStation store for downloadable games, but there aren't a whole lot. You may find a few that are worthwhile.

Enjoy your new toy, and don't be too disappointed in it. As long as you give it a chance, it'll surprise you.

If you're considering buying a game right away, I recommend Heavenly Sword. Though short, it's a fun-filled, button-mashing romp. You might also like Resistance: Fall of Man. Though I've never played it and I'm not huge on FPSes, it's made by Insomniac, so you know it's got to be good. Also, Warhawk may be a fine choice for you.

Not Heavenly sword, that's a rental, Resistance, Skate or Warhawk I would say would be the titles to get (though Skate may be better on 360).

I'm not sure if it is your kind of game Gou, but you really should download the demo of Folklore! Its a pretty sweet game.

If you have a good HDTV, you could check out some Bluray movies too (if you dont already do HD-DVD.

You can even rent bluray off of netflix now.

most demos range between 500-800MB, from what I've seen.
