I like some of their songs, namely "Higher", "My Sacrifice", and "With Arms Wide Open".

Creed totally kicks Alter Bridge's ass...

In reality I don't like either.

          Wait, wait....

What the hell Dusk Raven? Jar jar? Creed?

Maybe, Valk. I mean, the lead singer is a washed up has-been, but I'm sure there are some hard core Creed fans out there. Sadly, I will not be getting the album.

"Hey guys, let's do the stereotypical grunge voice to formulaic rock and use inspirational Christian lyrics. We'll make millions!"

Who started that voice anyway? I blame Eddie Vedder.

Damn, Owl...beat me to it. But for the sake of consistency, if I was an admin, that would be grounds for an immediate ban.

I'd rather listen to the Gospel Gangstas. And believe you me, I have absolutely NO desire to listen to the Gospel Gangstas, aside for maybe novelty value.

Ha ha...yeah, whenever I mock any grunge song, I always use that voice (you know which).

So I guess even though Smashing Pumpkins came out during the same period, nobody could possibly mistake them for grunge [even though they had a REALLY kick ass song on the Singles soundtrack...I used to listen to that song (Drown, I think it was called-the local Chicago alternative station used to always play a truncated version of the song, until Smashing Pumpkins became superstars, when they started playing the full seven minute version...ironic, seeing as how they are from Chicago in the first place) over and over-on cassette-and pretty much ignore the rest of the album] because Billy Corgan's voice is just way too whiny...and I actually didn't take this as a bad thing until whatever album came out after Mellon Collie...then I realized...damn, his voice is really just whiny and obnoxious.
