The Wacom Cintiq makes me happy

My school recently got a few of them, and I've fallen in love with the fact that it feels so much more intuitive than a regular tablet.

Now I've just been having fun drawing straight into Photoshop. This is what I've done so far.

    Hmm...looks somewhat like charcoal pencils.

Not bad, I'm kind of confused where they are though. Kinda looks like the inside of an office building, kinda looks like a big urban city.

      For those who don't know:

I read a howto article the other day, on Drawn.ca about this guy that installed in into a drafting table...

It's a big urban city. But I haven't really fleshed out the background yet. It's just been fun drawing very loosely for a change, so I've been enjoying it a bit too much.

People have been doing it for years, but the damn thing is so expensive. I've never seen one in stores, just the basic tablets.

I really want one. I have a 6x8, but I've never been able to make any real good use out of it because I can't get used to it. It's basically why I haven't drawn anything in a long time.

                Yea, it's pretty sweet.

                This school is spoiling me.

I too suffer the same fate Goufunaki, I have a pretty nice tablet but I haven't a clue what to do with it....Its so weird getting used to it.

I haven't actually picked it up and set it in my lap, although that's how some people use one. I just have it on its stand and tilt it back so it's like drawing on an angled drafting desk.
