I fixed the pavilion link, for anyone who needs it in the future.

interact got bought out by some other company, and no no longer exists.

InterAct was bought by MadCatz I believe. I read about it when I was looking up stuff about the SharkPort which was apparently supposed to be InterAct's follow up to the DexDrive right before they went bye-bye.

Do this: Try right-clicking the shortcut, then going to the "compatablility" tab, and check the "run in mode compatible for..." and try different systems from the drop-down list. It might work.

Sounds like what happened to me with a different program. If the error message mentions Autoconfig.nt or Config.nt try this. Hope it helps.

If you have Windows XP it should work just fine. I'm running the original software on Xp and having no problems. Does it not let you install at all, or does it give you errors? Or do you have a ...shudder(j/k) Mac?
