    Crappy Old 90s Toy?

    For some reason, I just had a memory of an electronic toy I used to own way back when I was a wee tot in the early nineties. I remember what it was and what it did, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. Maybe you guys can help!

    It was a white tablet sort of thing with a stylus and a built in color palette and it hooked up to your TV. You could draw and paint and color pictures on the TV with it, and it made these goofy electronic noises every time you made a selection. There were some crappy stamps and they may have animated. I think the toy was made by V-tech. It was pretty crappy and sucky, but I recall that I had fun playing with it for a little while after I got it.

    Does anyone know what the hell I'm talking about or did anyone own one of these? Can you tell me so I stop going insane trying to remember this?

    oooh, now you got me thinking. The color palette were colored buttons on the top of it, right? You would actually use the pen to press on the color you wanted to use, i think. I remember having something like that as a kid.

        Dunno if it was exact, but now that I think about it, it also had premade images you could color. I think one was like the inside of a castle, maybe a wizard was in there too, god I'm kicking myself now for not being able to remember!

              That's similar to what it was, but that's definitely not it. It had a different name than V-smile and it was an ugly white clunky thing.

                      You could "record" your paintings on VHS tapes, through the VCR.

                            Wow, I remember it now! You could record your crappy animations on the VCR and everything. I remember making some stupid junk in my day.

                            I wonder what I ever did with it, but I know I don't have it anymore. It's a shame, I'd love to play with it again so I could see just how dumb it really was.
