Yeah, what Mora said.

Also, if you could change, what would you want to change to? If you switched majors, it wouldn't REALLY be four more years, because you'd have a lot of the generals done. If you change to something sort of related, it could be even less time (but maybe that major would suck, too, depending on what you don't like about mechanical engineering).

I really don't care much for engineering but I can deal with it, I'm not going to stop and take up a major in something like writing or cinema studies simply because I like it. This really wasn't what the topic was about, though. I was venting about studying for a midterm and phrased it that way.

The people who are paying for me to go to school and decided they own my life because of it.

I really don't want to talk about this; though. This was moreso of a topic for those of us who go to school to gripe about things.

I hated majoring in computer science so much that I quit the school I was going to. Well, there were other reasons, and really wanting to change my major was closer to the bottom of that list, but still. Anyway now I'm at a different school majoring in the same thing and still hating it. YAY! But at least I hate it less this time.
