    Sony's Heavy Hitters.

Sony has some powerful titles in it's hands.

    Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
    LittleBigPlanet
    MetalGearSolid4
    Ratchet and Clank: Future
    Killzone 2

    I'm aware I'm missing a few titles...

Anyway, do you think these games will give Sony an edge? These all seem like Triple A titles. Which ones are you looking foward to?

Final Fantasy XIII, baby. If anything can push the PS3, it's that.

Ratchet and Clank: Future will hopefully help it along before then.

Yes, but which of those are coming out this year?

To my knowledge, it's just Drake's Fortune and Ratchet.

Well, if you are just counting those 5 games, then yeah, only 2 are coming out this year. But there are more games than that coming.

                  Of that list, MGS4...

I dislike the MGS series too.

Those first three would be on my list if I had/was getting a PS3. The other two are good games too but generally I don't do platformers or FPSs. FF13 is completely up in the air. I haven't learned anything concrete about the game and each FF is so different that even though the series as a whole is great individual installments can be hit or miss.

Bad software development practices? feature creep?

                          I thought LittleBigPlanet was a stand-alone game. I didn't realize it was a download.

Well Warhawk is technically a download (and a standalone). Same with Tekken. Plus a couple of the download games are decent.

The little big planet demo was supposed to hit sometime this fall. Originally they were talkinga bout Sept or Oct i think, but I dont think anything was set in stone.
