I was about to say that you posted this in the wrong forum, but seeing as how lil das is the one that keeps mentioning Blue Gender, and the RPGM forums are the only ones he has access to, I guess it might be okay to leave it here for a bit. But it's not up to me.

It was pretty strange too, not necessarily for an anime, but strange none the less.

It had some gore, if I remember correctly, and the plot didn't really make loads of sense.

If you want good anime then try Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, and Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, 2nd Gig. The series are alot better than the movie, especially the voice acting

Another good one is Full Metal Alchemist, and another would be Trigun.

I know its not an Anime, but I really like Avatar: The Last Airbender. They do some wicked cool stuff on that show.

It's like Starship Troopers but without the political and military commentary that actually made the book interesting.

Well, there ya have it, the plot doesn't really make sense. Neither do the credits for that matter, I mean how the blonde woman (one of the two main characters) is naked in most of it, whats up with that?

Why don't you try some of the shows I mentioned? And just steer clear of the craziness of Blue Gender.

P.S. Now that I think of it, the name doesn't even make sense.

I watched the entire thing when it as being shown on tv.

It's incredibly stupid. Funimation screws it up more with their own brand of horrible voice acting. I never found myself caring about the characters. The monsters and why they were attacking people was pretty cool, though, but that's about it.

Blue Gender doesn't hold back on killing off characters that's for sure. Get introduced to somebody and by the end of the episode they could be dead.

TSW: I thought Trigun was stupid. I kept hearing decent things about it, then I was disappointed when I saw it. Leave it to anime fans to exaggerate the quality of things(LOL GR00MP FAKTOLY ETC.) I suppose.

Watch Excel Saga if you think Blue Gender is "weird" and "doesn't make sense."

Change that to bobobobobobobo.

Excel Saga, as wacky as it was, still had a comprehensible storyline.
