Wii or 360????

Which should I buy for X-Mas and why? What things are good or bad about either of them?
One reason I would want a 360 is because I know I can easily get a crap load of cheap used games for it, but I have actually never seen either system in action except for screen shots.

Id go for wii, it sems like every game for 360 is modelled after another made for 360

plus 360 is bleh

with the $250+ you save by getting a Wii you can buy quite a bit of games with whats left over(or a bigger TV if need be)

The only third party game for the Wii that I'm actually interested in is Nights, so the 360 still has my vote.

I sometimes wish i had never bought a Wii...it gets NO use. But neither does my 360.

But then again, I'd also like to highlight my rule for video game purchases. I never buy a system until there are at least 5 games on it (either released or coming in the future) that I really want. Ever since I adopted the rule I've been happy and avoided spending money on systems that I never play.

What kind of games are you interested in? If it's the newfangled polygonal stuff, I think you should look into getting a 360. Its game library had a head start to grow, and there are many good games for the system. If you like classic games, you should look into a Wii. The virtual console feature is pretty big now, and spans many different consoles, including Nintendo's own.

i could see myself getting a wii someday just for Metroid and Mario (the same reasons I bought the gamecube).

but as for overall volume of games its the 360 without question. it has ninja gaiden 2 coming out afterall.

Mostly RPG's and FPS's. Not that big on any platform games. I also don't care about high end graphic as much as I care about quality games that look good.

Also, I don't have any experience playing online games, so there is another realm of possibilities to consider.

Less than half of those are out yet. And Dragon Blade really doesn't belong on a list of good games.

Anyway, I'm going to end up having to get both. But if I had to pick just one I'd probably go with 360.

For FPS' I would go for 360 or just upgrade your PC, really for FPS' PC>>>All Consoles.

RPGs again 360, they have some (Oblivion, Two Worlds, Eternal Sonata) while Wii has none (not including Virtual Consoles)

I gave you a good list of Wii games, there are some RPGs coming to it (Tales 2, Dragon quest?)

Less than half of those are out yet.
