I have an essay due in 10 hours. I need a topic. The assignment is to write about a "tense public space".

An example: We read an essay written by a black man in which he talked about his personal experiences walking around late at night alone and in the middle of the city. Everytime he bumped into someone else they'd naturally get paranoid.

My only thoughts were the men's public bathroom and all the urinal etiquett, but thats been done many times.

First thing that comes to my mind is to do a quick bit of research on anxiety disorders, and maybe write it from the POV of someone suffering from the affliction.

But that might be hard to do unless you actually suffer from it, and know what it's actually like.

I heard something along those lines about certain paranoias while driving... we used a lot of different people and found out things like "people are naturally more paranoid to drive behind/in front of female drivers" and a bunch of other things




OH and a really good disorder to use is the one where people are scared of public/crowded places... i forget it's name
