    Nintendo Fall Conference

Some interesting announcments. Might as well put them in one place.

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Has it's own thread. Sonic's in, so is online co-op, delayed to Jan 24 JP TBD NA

    Wii Fit
    JP: Dec 1 8,800yen ($75)

    Mario Kart Wii
Spring 08, there's gonna be motorcycles in it!

    Monster Hunter 3
Seriously, who'da thunk it? Capcom sure loves the Wii.

FF Crystal Chronicles: The Small King and the Promised Country - Wii Ware

A country-building sim set after the original FFCC. Coming to Japan in March.

Pokèmon Ranch Channel - Wii Ware

Let your Mii raise and care for your D/P Pokemon on a little farm. Take pictures of your pokemon to send to friends. Am I the only one who finds the origami graphic style really cute?

    Super Mario Stadium Baseball
Because there can never be too many Mario sports games.

    Fire Emblem DS
    No details, couple screens

    DS Demos
Coming "soon" you'll finally be able to download DS demos via Wii. What took so long?

Finally, some evidence of developers understanding that Nintendo's the forerunner this generation.

yea, monster hunter 3 is rather surprising. i wont doubt the gameplay quality, but i'm wondering about the control set-up.

Isn't Brawl coming out the first week of December stateside?

If the JP date's been pushed back to January, I'm really worried about its domestic release.

            Re: Nintendo Fall Conference

The North American site changed the release date to TBD so apparently it's been pushed back too and they're not even sure how far yet. Definitely disappointing.

Also, a couple bits of Wii news not from the conference.
            Update 3.1
Adds full USB keyboard support. Download the updated versions of the Internet and Everybody Votes channels to take advantage of it.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
Will have Mii integration. Four "Dream events" with game inspired stages, power-ups, and special moves more like the usual Mario Sports fare.

            * Dream Race on the Sandhill Race Course.
            * Dream Platform, a skydiving event where you soar through hoops and avoid obstacles while doing tricks.
            * Dream Fencing on a jungle beach.
            * Dream Table Tennis in a sci-fi wonderland.

So the Wii finally has something to compete with XBL! This is most astounding.

I think the Wii was more than competing with it already.

Two new Wii channels, both debuting in Japan next month.
                        Check Mii Out Channel
Where you can show of and share your Miis with everybody not just your Wii code friends. And a contest mode where people can judge the best.

                        Everybody's Nintendo Channel
This is where you'll get the DS demos and also promo videos.

This all makes me very happy.

Monster Hunter 3 is a huge shock. it's a Wii exclusive too. Gloom has to be thrilled he got rid of his Wii.

Sony's got to be ******. monster hunter was a big force on the PSP in japan, single-handedly revitalizing the system prior to crisis core's release. I know they were counting on it doing the same for the PS3. and now it's going to the Wii only. damn. damn and wow.

Serves Gloomy right for ditching it before the year was through. \:3

Good for Nintedno. However, I didn't Monster HUNTER would be so revered by the gaming industry.

I'm really psyched for Mario Kart, though. This is going to kick so much ass.
