I think he's trying to make a limitation that no stat can go above in spite of levelling?

      I don't think that's doable in RPGM3.

What I mean is that I can't get the following figured out for lvl 1:

        1 str= ??? pts of dmg
        1 def= ??? pts of dfs
        1 mag= ??? of dmg
        1 mdf= ??? pts of mdf
        1 agi= ??? pts of agi

        could someone get the info?

JPS made this topic to assist newbies with balancing stats in RPGM3. Read it and laugh, read it and learn, read it and stop bothering me.

All the stats are intertwined with each other, you cant figure out how much 1 point of STR can deal because you have to take into consideration the enemies DEF, AGI, LUCK, weaknesses, special traits, etc...

The best thing to do(not tooting my own horn) is to follow the guide Ivan posted, I know as well as I'm sure everyone else here can tell you that making a game with well balanced monsters is extremely difficult, even more so if you have random battles.

YA i can second that... although you could always use a simplistic and even number setting for most things... and do a lot of test battles and junk
