And I've got all of an hour and 20 minutes of sleep. Ha ha.

Gonna need lots of caffeine. I can't drink energy drinks, because the last time I did, I think I had a heart palpitation. Needless to say I'm not gonna drink anything that makes me do THAT again.

But yeah, I think 30 gazillion people are gong to be there, give or take 30 gazillion. These things are always fun since there are some really weird people at these. The last two times I went there was this judge who looked like a girl with facial hair, or a guy with boobs, take your pick, he looked like both.

So, yeah. Wish me luck, or make fun of the fact that I play a nerdy card game, I'm too damn tired to care at this point.

edit: I put two and two together. I was asking what format it was, then I realized the only one to take place on a sunday is the prerelease. Pick up as many Dorans as you possibly can. That guy is gonna be huge, quite possibly the new 'goyf.

Me and my friends went yesterday. I managed to win the flight I was in.
Between the lot of us, we probably walked away with box of packs, plus the other product. Plus, I filled out most of the Goblin deck I was tinkering around with, including three of the dual lands.

I'm going back today for some silly tournament of champions or something. It's just another huge flight with massive prize payouts, but it's more sealed, and for some reason sealed is the only format I am not TEH FAILZ in.

I liked MtG but I never got into it because I'm too cheap to buy new cards.

many years ago my friend had a chains of mestopolies deck or something. it made the player draw endless cards from their deck until they where out, hitting them with life damages per card, and preventing them from discarding. it completely owned every deck until another friend made an anti chains deck and beat him. i still play magic but not as much and i no longer own my own cards. my favorite decks are anything with instants, the super awesome elf deck where mana is fast out and damage can start sooner, and a brutal blue time deck that hurts like no tomorrow.

I still have this deck. The idea is that you sue the card "Mist of Stagnation" to stop them from untapping anything and then use Psychatog to beat them. Ever since I added Psychatog though it hasn't worked the same.

I played the game for about 3 months....I think I had a green deck....maybe with some white cards in addition. And I played the HELL out of the Magic game for the Xbox, even though it basically bears no resemblance to the card game. Does that count for anything?

I tried to learn MtG once... My head started hurting and the last thing I remember is having my hands around someones throat. I wonder what happened to that buddy of mine. I haven't seen him in some time.....

You're probably doing something wrong with the rest of the deck. There's a reason Dr. Teeth is referred to as "the best creature in Magic."

I wish I could have gone. If I lived in portland, and had more money, I would have. But I don't. I'm just going to have to go to the release like every other poor player around here.

Are you ****ing me? The mox and recall are worth several hundred dollars EACH, I'd sell em.

Icy isn't worth crap though, due to it's massive underpoweredness when compared to teh brokenness that moxes and ancestral are.
