Unfortunately, this is one of the times Alex Jones got things right.
We have plenty of 'democracy' to go around here in the U.S., with widespread surveillance, rigged elections, 'free speech zones', restrictions on what you can and can't put into your own body, a distribution of wealth where the richest 1% own nearly half the wealth, a press that rarely says anything in opposition to two limited points of view, a tax burden that takes most of our income(when state, local, sales, property, and other taxes are factored with federal), no reasonable expectation from unreasonable search and seizure, and a rapidly declining amount of privacy.
