Worst Pain Ever felt!!!

I'm just sitting here searching the forums and My ankle started to hurt. Then I got curious as to what the worst pain anyone of you have felt? I always heard about if you get hurt you'll be able to feel it when the whether changed. I never believed it until I cut my achillies tendon. Now I'm a believer.

Oh... and the movies do a pritty good job at showing what happens. I dropped to the ground when I tried stepping on it. It didn't hurt it when it happened, but it cramps up a lot now. That just makes me mad. Anyway I would love to hear if you've been through anything painful. Let's face it, it's interesting.

Maybe we should define pain first.

Let pain = duration * intensity

Therefore, getting my ear pierced has high intensity of pain, but lasted a second or two. A sore muscle may not hurt that intense but may be there a long time. It's quite possible that the pain of a sore muscle for a week could equal the pain of getting your ear pierced in 2 seconds.

So I'm assuming we want something with both high duration and intensity. Having surgery was kinda a pain, had my wisdom teeth out. Having a really bad cavity kinda sucks to since the intensity is strong and duration can be as long as your stupidity of not getting it fixed.

Thats funny my filling came out about a month ago. Now I have to use only the right side of my mouth to chew. Other wise it hurts like crazy.

I was thinking something not that common. Not many people can say they cut their achillies. Though if it was funny or you were doing something stupid I would love to hear about it.

Well, the worst I remember is when I was young, before kindergarten I think. I remember being in a living room, I was running around, tripped, and smacked the left side of my head right on the corner of the bricks you find around a fire place. Last thing I remember from that night was my dad picking me up, and I saw myself in a mirror, my whole face covered in blood.

Had a scar on my noggin ever since.

When I'm half asleep and stretch, 50% of the time my right ankle would cramp like hell, and I'd have to relax to stop it, takes about a minute or so.

Though, I'd rather have that happen to me 4 days out of the week than live in my current situation now.

One word... SHINGLES!

2 weeks of agonizing pain that could only be lessened by sleep, which I couldn't get because of the pain. It sucked, and I still have scars on my neck from the patches of blisters.

Once I completely stopped taking all of my meds for 2 weeks. I can really explain the pain I went through do to that stupid mistake. Let just say, I thought I was going to die. Which was probably the case.

When I got my wisdom teeth pulled (all 4), we had to rush back cuz I wouldn't stop bleeding. I wanted it to end, so I said no anesthetic.

BIG MISTAKE.

image having the nerve ending of your mouth being jabbed and the tissue being sewn for a good 15 minutes....although I don't know how long it was really but yeah. Worst pain I ever felt.

I don't know the worst pain I ever felt, when my wisdom tooth got impacted, actually getting it removed far less agonizing compared to the actual tooth ache.

I was locked out of the house and trying to get back in by climbing from my father's truck onto the 2nd floor balcony.

Anyways, after I jumped up and grabbed the banisters and was lifting my foot up onto the platform, I slipped and fell about 15 feet onto the driveway, landing flat on my tailbone.

Ever since then I've had this horrible lower back pain.
