As long as the combat isn't as boring as the original, I'll be happy. It was a really cool idea and some of it worked, but the combat was too sluggish for me.

EDIT: Just watched the movie and I was pretty impressed especially with the small snippets of combat (if that's real time, that is). If they can pull off some cool, dynamic INCREDIBLE HULK DESTRUCTION style combat with picking up random objects and deforming the environment, then I'm all for it. It looked a lot more fast paced and seemed like it could WORK unlike the original game (and they need to remove the timer).

The atmosphere is also a lot richer. I love how depressing everything looks despite the bright graphics.

I stopped playing the original because I had a mission in an area I couldn't find on the map.

Dont forget people, that Bumpy Trot 2 (Steambot Chronicles 2) is coming out on the PS3, not the PS2. Although there is a PSP version coming as well. Not sure which if any will be coming to the US.

Edit: edited to clarify that Bumpy Trot and Steambot Chronicles are the same game.

Bumpy Trot (god i hate that name) is supposedly some sort of battle tournament thing so that's a no-go for me.

But I'll be buying a ps3 for Little Big Planet regardless so hopefully this shows up on our shores.

I know and I absolutely hate it. When I first heard they were releasing a game called "bumpy trot" on the ps2 I laughed until my throat was soar. STEAMBOT CHRONICLES isn't exactly any better of a name but...

BUMPY TROT. It's like an engrish amusement park ride.

Whoops, just re-read that. What I mean to say was:

Bumpy Trot for the PSP is supposed to be some sort of battle tournament thing.
