    Lowest Form Of Advertising Ever

I've saw some stupid advertising, but this one tops it all. From a 1998 Archie Comic ( They always had ads on the back for other comics the authors made, but never as stupid as this. In a middle of a story.) Notice the clown with the sandwichboard.

Those ****ing billboard trucks that drive around town polluting the air shoving 4x8 feet ****ty advertisements onto the streets. I saw this one last week that had a pulley system scroll through ads on the back, left, and right of the truck. Ughhhh.

You must live in Awesometon, Dragon.

As for the ad... it's Archie. Quite frankly I'm surprised it wasn't advertising itself. Who here has ever read an entire issue of Archie, let alone many issues?

I used to read a lot of Double Digests.

And it's not even really an advertisement. It's like an in-joke. It's not advertising when Spider-Man appears in an issue of X-Men.

Wait, yeah, what the **** is with these billboard trucks? I see at least one a day in Boston, and that's one too many. Advertising on buses and subways is cool - they serve a primary purpose of transportation. But a truck devoted to advertising? Isn't that just wildy irresponsible in a city where traffic is constant and gas prices are outrageous?

              **** you, billboard trucks.

Okay, I have too. Well, two.

What's the appeal of Archie, anyway? It's been going on for about 43,000 years and it seems to be the same thing all of the time(hello, comics lol).

It's isn't the lowest form of advertising. Not even close.

People dressed as Uncle Sam on the side of the road during tax season.
Non-skippable Internet ads that run before video content.
Internet ads that take you to a relocation page with an ad and then to the link you really wanted.
                  Those spyware search engine websites.
                  The Internet in general.
Ads that play in movie theatres during the trailers.
                  Flyers on your car.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Was it some kind of ironic joke? Like signing someone up for a cheese of the month deal?

Nope, I actually thought it was an awesome gift, like bringing me back to my childhood. (Yes, I know i am still young to some of you)

For some reason, his mother thought it was a joke.

                        It wasn't- I loved it

The ninja turtle ones were neat.
