I want to start out on medium or hard mode, but I don't want anything like character models or items preset!! I want it to start out with nothing like on RPGM 3! Please help, this is getting on my nerves! :upset

Starting on hard is as as bare bones as it gets.

But you'll lose a good chunk of the battle system.

It's best to start on easy, change to hard, and delete everything you don't want for extra memory, if needed.

But you can delete everything and make whatever you want, so I don't see a problem here. Am I missing something?

Wow thanks man. I didn't know you could switch the level of gameplay. Thanks again! :)

Glad it helped!

You change gameplay level in "Preferences" - but be aware... There can be a LOT to delete, and it requires deleting or modifying several things together or "Trash" wont empty so lomg as anything is still "in use" - so start at "the highest level" (world organization) and work down to scripts. Emptying the trash at each stage!

the only thing not fun about hard mode is having to register every object model yourself. and also, like rodak mentioned, if you plan on using the default battle system, you'll lose a lot of the basic scripts that make it work.

I recommend instead starting on Normal and then switching to Hard. That way you'll still have basic stuff like the battle system and all those pre-made items and spells, but you won't have to bother with the extra maps and other stuff.
