I'm all about a free subscription but going to Joystick made my head hurt.

They have an article up where "readers pick the best gaming webcomic."

VGCats won and Joystick gave CAD a honerable mention despite the fact that it didn't get nominated.

Signed up for it, but I probably won't even bother reading it, just like I do with all other free subscriptions I get.

I guess its cause I don't feel obliged to get into it since I'm not paying for it.

I read these magazines cover to cover. Even if I don't agree with what they say it's always neat to see a game I never heared of pop up in them to get my attention.

I've been getting subscriptions to EGM, Game Informer, and Games for Windows for a while now. It is sort of funny, because I have never knowingly signed up for them, and I definitely have not ever payed for them.
