    Aquaria

    http://bit-blot.com/aquaria/

Not sure if anyone else has been following this game's updates, but with each video that I've seen I've become more interested in it.
It's looking like it just might be the killer reinvention of 2D games that Odin Sphere was supposed to be.

Plus it just looks absolutely gorgeous.

        More Screenshots.

        Progress Log.

Amrbrosia makes some really good games, this doesn't look to be really my cup of tea, but I noticed it a few weeks ago and was somewhat interested.

EDIT: Oh, btw, the above links are for the mac version of Aquaria, but I figured you windows users might be interested in some of what Ambrosia has to say.

Reminds me a lot like Ecco the Dolphin. Only this one looks a lot more gorgeous.

                So it's a PC game?

Knowing Ambrosia, it'll start out on the Mac.
                  ...and that's why.

Actually if I read it right, it's actually coming to the PC first, because the game itself is not made by Ambrosia, Ambrosia is just doing the mac version of it.

                        Re: Aquaria

This game came out yesterday I believe. I played the demo and it's pretty much what I expected. It's a beautiful game, but unless you're a fan of PURE exploration games then you probably won't enjoy this too much. There's little to no direction and the game is kind of tough but I enjoy it and I think it's worth the 30$ price tag.
