YAY! I GOT DSL!!!.....but......

...But NOW I can't log into my bank, my ebay account, or either one of my myspace pages. Has anyone that's gone from dialup to DSL had similar problems? If so, how did you fix it? I've tried the help(less) desk at bellsouth, and they didn't have a clue. The same was true of ebay, my bank, AND myspace. Can anybody help?

Whats not working for the log in? Does the same password/username not work for some reason, or can you not acsess the input fields?

Well, one of 2 things happens. I either get an 'internal server error' message on an otherwise blank window when I hit 'log in', or the page just sits there until it times out. I don't think my passwords have been phished, because I'm not getting an 'invalid password' message.

Well you could call your ISP to see if there is a problem.

Are you direct linking using favorites? You may have to clear your temporary files and cookies then re-do your favorites list.

It's ok, man. And yeah, I tried that also. Nobody seems to know why this is happening...nobody...and it's driving me right the **** up the wall. I'm about to get seriously rooked on ebay, and I can't log in to do anything about it.

do you have a hardware firewall inside your dsl modem that's getting in your way? (it shouldn't, but i guess if you got a used modem... i dunno).

Update your internet browser, check you network connection settings under your control panel, and clear out all your temp internet files and cookies.

What browser are you using? Do you have a static or dynamic IP?

I just updated FireFox day before yesterday, in attempt to fix this problem. I'm not running a firewall, and my browser is set to accept all cookies. The IP is static. I've looked at my connection settings, and nothing seems amiss.

Delete your cookies, on some websites they not only remember your name and password but also your ISP, and if it doesnt match then they wont let you in
