So what's the deal with this? Is it a strat-rpg? It seems as if you get a lot of stuff for your $50....unfortunately, it's on PS2, which I don't play anymore. Out of curiousity's sake, if I preordered this today, would I still be able to get the Limited Edition version, or is it too late for that?

Has anyone reviewed it yet?
I'm pretty hesitant about giving it a shot considering the reviews it got in Japan; but apparently they changed some stuff around for the US release.

The only edition _is_ the limited edition.

The only edition _is_ the limited edition.

It's only going through 1 print, so it's a TRUE limited edition. The extra stuff will always be there.

I bought Growlanser generations 3 years ago before Working Designs bit the bucket...

I haven't even opened the plastic. I kind of want to play it but I have no idea what to expect so I just play something else instead.

So, what's the deal with the american releases? There's apparently 6 or 7 games in this series and yet only 2 are in America. Is it a combination type deal like the Arc the Lad collection on the ps1 or do they just pick random titles and localize them like the SMT and Legend of Heroes series.

PLAY IT! 2 games for 1! Great storylines, combat system and leveling system.

Apperently they just wanted to have players start in a new storyline and world than 2 & 3.

Do you expect Heritage of War to sell out fast? I plan on ordering generations becuase it looks pretty good, and if I like it I intent to eventually get Heritage of War, being that it's the only other Growlanser title to see a NA release.

Heritage of War is only getting ONE LIMITED release. So once it is gone, it is gone. You arent going to see anymore copies in stores anywhere.

I suppose there's always eBay if I feel like buying it for hundreds of dollars. Anyway I can't buy it right away anyway, so i'm just gona have to try Genrations, see if I like it, and if I do, hope I can get my hands of HoW.

Generations was one print as well. You still see those games in stores. I don't plan on it selling out fast, but I still want to get it right away.

But I should have ordered with 1 day shipping...

I ordered Growlanser: Generations last night for $30, shipping and handling included, but it's used and I have no idea if it comes with the original case and/or manual. I don't really care but It'd be nice if it did.
