    TGS 360 briefing.

Bunch of videos up on marketplace now. Watching the first right now, and they're showing a lot of Lost Odyssey (random battles! ack!). Sooooooo awesome looking! Battles are regular turn based, though they added something about pressing the triggers and if timed right makes the action more effective. The boss they showed looked really nice.

Sakaguchi was demonstrating the game. And died.

That Lost Odyssey is looking great. I don't mind the random battles all too much so long as the battles look awesome in its execution.

*edit* some clips showed it in a 3rd person perspective. o_O Anyone know if you can switch views or is that for certain weapons?

Showed off Ace Combat 6. Very pretty.

And Beautiful Katamari was told to be on the 360 ONLY. So Namco having it listed for other platforms on their site briefly was a mistake.

I doubt it was just a mistake. They listed Eternal Sonata for PS3 at the same time and deleted it at the same time but now they've admitted it is coming. I'm guessing either BK is a timed 360 exclusive or it'll be under a different title/subtitle on the other systems.

They're cutting out a lot of trailers.
            Even DMC4.

They're gonna release them on the marketplace later, but still, I want to see them now.

It cuts to a screen saying it'll be up for download later. People there saw the trailers, but it's annoying for me seeing a simple picture then having the host come back saying "Wasn't that amazing?"

I thought the Eternal Sonata PS3 was a big surprise.

I'm still getting it for the 360, however.

It's got some extras but it won't come out until Spring. Two of the NPCs in the 360 version are playable on the PS3 one and they have a costume changing system and some extra events.

3rd video. Itagaki talks about NG2!

If only he could take off those damn sun glasses.

Everyone else had subtitles for the video, but he has a guy translating in english for him.

*edit* Gameplay footage! Holy ****! Holy ****! Holy ****!

                      *edit 2*

Oh man, the body parts and blood stay where they're at when you go on a frenzy!
First game had them disappear when they died.

                        Re: TGS 360 briefing.

Ok, so a guy loses his leg, he still tries to get up and fight. One guy lost an arm,but was still attacking Ryu.

One guy even got chopped in HALF and still tried to get up to keep fighting.

And Ryu swinging his weapon to the ground to have the blood come off is a nice touch.

Ok, as you get hurt, your max health remains the same, however, a red bar begins filling to prevent you from filling up all the way. Once he reached a save point, it fixed this problem. From the looks of things, the amount of damage you get from one attack, half of that becomes a redbar.

Changing weapons was a small menu that paused the action, so you can more easily change equipment without going through several options. You can change rather quickly.

As far as auto healing goes, it only occurs when NOT fighting enemies. So as soon as people show up, it stops healing. This works for me just fine.

I swear to god, Eternal Sonata should have come out a week earlier than it did. If it did, I may have picked it up because it looks great, but with Halo 3 coming out one week later, it's just not worth it.

Maybe I'll get ES for Christmas or something.

I'll probably be one of the few Xbox 360 owners NOT buying Halo 3 within the first month it comes out, if ever. I'm WAY more interested in Halo Wars.

I'm not interested in Halo at all. But then I'm not a 360 owner yet.
