A constitution violated, 620000 noncombatant civilians dead, 3,771 U.S. soldiers dead, a nation contaminated with radioactive waste with a population lusting for revenge, about $450 billion taxpayer dollars squandered, a popular appeal to get out of Iraq that is ignored by those who are supposed to represent us...
Time to turn off the oil spigots, offer the public electric cars, install wide scale mass transit across the country's urban centers, install wind and solar power facilities, cultivate industrial hemp and other plants for biomass, end wasteful factory farming, implement high speed electric rail systems for long distance travel, get rid of the resource-intensive military industrial complex, and tell society's power elite to either take the loss in profit and political power or alternatively, eat lead.
