So...for years I've been saying how I'd like to make "nintendragons," (it wouldn't be called that, but you get the idea) which would be like Nintendogs, but raising your dragon, training them, playing with them, and then be able to have them fight w/ friends' dragons via local wifi. Well...they're making it...and I'm not saying they REALLY stole my idea, but it's just a lamentation of "maybe I should've gone through w/ it" kinda thing...or maybe not, I dunno. I guess a lot of the idea derived from how much people enjoyed getting the pet dragon in Everquest 2.
Still, I know how my bf feels, to see a concept you thought of years ago fleshed out in present day and then thinking, damn...maybe that could've been my game w/ a little more motivation. I DO work for a game company afterall, and I could've at least pitched the idea.
I have to admit though...the whole raising them w/ different sounds is pretty whack...you wouldn't be playing that in public.
