    Looking for a free webpage development tool.

    Because Dreamweaver isn't free I kinda don't want to use Notepad or somthing like that. I need it for class, so any help would be useful. Thanks.

      Well there is Visual Studio Web Developer express though that may be a bit overkill. I know quite a few people like something called HTML Kit. I usually use Eclipse, though you would have to download it and get the web development extension. You could also try NotePad++ if you just want syntax highlighting.

      Of course Firefox's web developer toolbar could work,though it's not as nice for an editor, but you can do that in it, it's really more for webpage debugging.

          I use HTML Kit. It's free and pretty damn nice.

            I enjoy Notepad++.

              i use dreamweaver, got it from my uncle. ive used other freebies before like if you buy space from a host you sometimes get a development tool to go with it.

              hit up downloads.com and you can find all kinds of tools.

                I use Coda. Or TextMate. But they're for OS X. Use notpad.
