Just got a new demo finished showing off some clever uses for the map editor. Download the file here (http://www.maximummemory.com/files/20340_22467_RPGM2__Map_665524.max) from codejunkies directly.
Get the details on the demo here (http://doansdomain.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=TheFinalRune&action=display&thread=1189440058).

I just saw this on the mag. Very neat stuff.

Impressive as always. I'll play around with a bit tomorrow, and likely convert it to a PS3 save since I'll be doing that anyway since I don't use my PS2 much now that I have my PS3.

Map Editor Demo, now in PS3 format

Remember to put this in PS3/EXPORT/PSV folder of your USB drive.
And all the maps were pretty well done. I'm curious as to why when you zoom out things get darker, though that might be a PS3 thing since that's what I tried it on. But yeah the waterfall was pretty cool, and the ice bridge too. I just wish the maps were longer because they're just so nice looking. But yes you continue to show what maps should look like on RPGM2.

He uses black fog to help make less ugly the sudden edge of the draw distance.

Yeah, Draygone has it right. Most the maps in the demo feature fog. In cave, ice, lava, mountain, desert, and forest maps I use a varying degree of fog (usually from 40-60%) to further increase the player immersion into the map.
And congratulations and thank you TTC, as far as I know, you are the first person to actually play my demo.
