Re: Zelda Maker:How did we miss this?
Yeah, I wonder that too, but at the same time, I'm really about to have a lot of fun. Also, they mentioned it in EGM, so if it's not legal and Nintendo cares, they'll do something about it. Otherwise I have to figure they don't care.
Also, it seems insanely easy to use, despite being glitchy and poorly tested. And the games seem to play well when they are finished too.Last edited by pinkymadigan; 05-03-2005, 04:56 PM.Took me 15 minutes to remember how to change my signature, and this is all I came up with.

Re: Zelda Maker:How did we miss this?
well no matter what you're basically working with the first Legend of Zelda game. So that says something right there.
Actually upon looking through a tutorial it seems like there's some neat things that you can do. If you're skilled you can do your own tile sets, you can add dialouge, although you're pretty much limited to the shop guy and the old people with the default sets, and you can do treasure chest.
Plus theres a way to open up another set of tiles that look alot more like Four Swords. Plus from the looks of things once you figure out what does what it's pretty simple to use. On the flip side it looks like as far as "events" go you're limited to the stuff from zelda. But, apparently someone made a Mario 2 type of game so that may not be true.
I'll probably have some fun with this over the summer so lets see what we can do.Last edited by IRC; 05-03-2005, 09:22 PM.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

As much as I dislike Zelda, the prospect of seeing Link, armed to the teeth with firearms and explosives, running around in a post-neclear war setting entices me. Maybe I'll give it a look...The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder." ~ Thomas Jefferson
