So I burned a collection of songs by Modest Mouse, from many different albums, to a CD. Then I ripped the songs onto my girlfriend's laptop. She didn't have a net connection at the time, so it all ripped as "Track 1" and the like. I then proceeded to edit the information to what it's supposed to be.
So, of course, when we get a net connection, Windows Media Player proceeds to think it's all from the same album and renames each file according to what track number it is, despite repeated corrections by me. Media Player 10 didn't even do this. This **** really bugs the freaking **** outta me.
So who are the chimps working at Microsoft these days, eh?
Any solutions?
