I thought this was going to come up. Replacements happen whenever a character gets killed or moved out. However another family may be created containing the others who weren't included. Out of an eight person family it's hard to include everyone.

I was going to comment on how it's really a kilt. And yes I think it's either the Irish or Scottish. I don't know my geography that well.... For all I know they could be the same people.

None of the very new Sims die. But as for deaths, you should be looking at Sims who have been in there longer. Sims can die of natural causes. But it takes over 40 Sim days. There an elder in 28 Sim days. I think Lechuck is like somewhere 15-11 days until he's an elder.

You usually have little control over what I make your Sim do... The only time you do have control is when, you might find it really insulting and not a joke. Then I'd PM you asking.

I will have a house full of corporate bigwigs... and in another house, the shady Dusk and his childish sidekick Raven. Together they plot to assassinate the evil corporate humans.

I've figured how it works... In Sims 2 they'es aspiriation. Which leads to wants, and fears. Well fire is on almost everyones fear list. It happened twice in a row. Meaning you lost alot of aspiration. Lack of aspiration makes the Sim partially insane. Some will draw faces on Volleyballs. Some beg for money. And some sit on the floor crying. You weren't the only one freaking out.
